This song was written shortly before or during the "Your Arsenal" recording sessions, which took place in March 1992 at the Wool Hall in Bath, with producer Mick Ronson. Musicians on this recording were Boz Boorer (guitar), Alain Whyte (guitar), Gary Day (bass) and Spencer Cobrin (drums).

The first 54 airings were on the 1992 Your Arsenal tour when the song was done every night with the exception of an early festival appearance and an aborted concert. It unexpectedly returned on the 2014 tour when it was done 6 more times out of 17 American dates and 17 times out of 32 dates in in Europe.
