"The Kid's A Looker"
(Morrissey/Boz Boorer)

The song was presumably written during the year preceding its live debut in the summer of 2011. It is not known if a proper studio version was recorded by Morrissey for himself prior to the Janice Long session recorded for the BBC on 10 June 2011 and broadcast on 15 June 2011 (producer: Mark Plant). The musicians who played on the latter recording are Boz Boorer (guitar), Jesse Tobias (guitar), Matt Walker (drums), Solomon Walker (bass) and Gustavo Manzur (keyboards, perhaps more).

This song has yet to be released in studio form otherwise than as the radio and television sessions mentioned below.

Because this radio session was the only source for this song until its official release almost two years later, it is more commonly found on the internet in bootleg form than from an official source.
Studio In Session March 2012 [tv] {3:12}
"25Live", a live concert on video [bonus material]
Because of the time elapsed between the original broadcast and the inclusion as bonus material on the above release, this performance as well as the other three from the same set ("Scandinavia", "Action Is My Middle Name" and "People Are The Same Everywhere") and the Morrissey banter are also widely circulated on video and audio bootlegs.

This song has been done in concert 16 times by Morrissey, all on the 2011 tour. Most performances are from early into the tour. Unlike other new songs introduced by Morrissey that year and that have yet to be 'properly' released in studio forms, this one did not return on the subsequent 2012 and 2013 tours.

There are no officially released live recordings of the song at this point in time.

No demos or studio outtakes of this song have leaked to the general public at this point in time.
