This song may have been written during the rehearsals in January 1995 at Abbey Road Studios in London, or perhaps when it was recorded during the "Southpaw Grammar" sessions in March-April 1995 at Hook End Manor. Producer is Steve Lillywhite and musicians are Boz Boorer (guitar), Alain Whyte (guitar), Jonny Bridgwood (bass) and Spencer Cobrin (drums).

This song was done in concert 12 times by Morrissey, every night of the Southpaw Grammar tour bar one, and never since. It was never done as a stand-alone, as "Dagenham Dave" would always segue into it.
