"Tomorrow" (Morrissey/Alain Whyte) This song is only available on the "Your Arsenal" album which doesn't include lyrics. They are transcribed here without permission, as they are heard.
Tomorrow1 On the 1999 half of the Oye Esteban tour Morrissey often sang "something that you'll never do". In late 1999 and for most of the 2000 half of that tour he usually sang "something that you shouldn't do". When he resurrected the song in 2007 on the Greatest Hits tour he went back to "something that you'll never do". 2 In many live performances of this song on the 1992 Your Arsenal tour Morrissey changed this line to "I will tell everyone". There were sometimes variations on this, such as "I will tell anyone". When he resurrected the song in 2007 on the Greatest Hits tour he went back to the original studio form. Then in early 2008 on that same tour he sometimes sang "I won't tell anyone" or "I will tell everyone". 3 Most of the time on the Oye Esteban tour Morrissey actually sang "I won't tell anyone". He also sometimes sang "I won't tell everyone". When he resurrected the song in 2007 on the Greatest Hits tour he went back to the original studio form. Then in early 2008 on that same tour he sometimes sang "I won't tell anyone" or "I will tell everyone". 4 In many live performances of this song on the 1992 Your Arsenal tour Morrissey changed the second occurrence of this line to "through my useless body". Then on the 1999-2000 Oye Esteban tour he changed the second occurrence, and sometimes the first one as well, to "through my miserable body". On the 2007 Greatest Hits tour the first occurrence of "through my shiftless body" was rarely changed but the second occurrence was often changed to the "through this useless body", or to variations such as "through this hopeless body" or "through this ridiculous body". On the second half of the latter tour in 2008 he changed one or both occurrences of the line to to "through this useless body", "through this wretched body" or "through this ugly body". 5 On the 2007-2008 Greatest Hits tour Morrissey often sang "I never even said I wanted to". 6 On the 2007-2008 Greatest Hits tour Morrissey often sang "of course you don't mean it". Note: In California, Mexico, Chile and Argentina on the 2000 half of the Oye Esteban tour Morrissey often replaced every occurrence of the word "tomorrow" in this song to its Spanish translation mañana.
