5 September 1986 Cullen Auditorium, Houston, TX The Queen Is DeadThe setlist was significantly scrambled on this date. "Frankly Mr Shankly" and "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" were dropped and "William, It Was Really Nothing" returned for the first time since the Canadian dates from late July. The recently reintroduced "Rusholme Ruffians" medley was also played. At some point into the concert the band stepped offstage. During the break someone in the audience shouted Johnny Marr's name and the latter came back on stage, walked to the edge of it, bowed to the crowd and the concert resumed. At some other time Morrissey took a book handed to him by a fan, looked at it, commented "Oh I've already read that one" and tossed it into the audience. Info provided by Tim Murrah.
