23 March 1985 Town Hall, Middlesbrough William, It Was Really NothingThe setlist was the same as for the last few gigs, but lacked the final encore of "Handsome Devil". As soon as he entered stage, Morrissey asked "You're not tired already are you? (crowd: 'No!') Good..." After "I Want The One I Can't Have", the crowd broke into a chant of Morrissey's name. "Shakespeare's Sister" was introduced with the announcement "This is our new single... which... all your favourite DJs will not play... because they say it's not required...". As a matter of fact that single turned out to be - at this point in time - the band's least successful one since the band had made it big. "Meat Is Murder" was dedicated "... for everybody who came here by McDonalds". Tickets were £5.00.
