Set list unknown.This was the first concert by the Smiths in the United States. They were scheduled right after midnight, so it could be listed under the date 1 January 1984. Tickets were $20 in advance, $25 at the door, as it was a New Years Eve party. Madonna, who had released a few singles at that point in time but had yet to become an international megastar, was supposedly also on the bill that night.
Johnny Marr recalls that the band did seven songs. Morrissey at some point fell off the stage, but he quickly recovered.
Other dates were scheduled in New Jersey and Boston after this one, but they were cancelled because Mike Joyce came up with chicken pox.
