It was recorded during the "Everyday Is Like Sunday" b-sides session in March 1988 at Wool Hall Studios in Bath, with producer Stephen Street. Musicians on the recording were Vini Reilly (guitar, perhaps piano), Stephen Street (bass) and Andrew Paresi (drums). This may also feature a string sextet led by John Metcalfe.
