"I Want The One I Can't Have", "Rusholme Ruffians" and "Handsome Devil" which were performed on that night were never broadcast. A number of these live recordings found their way on official releases (and many bootlegs!). See concert information.

The bulk of this concert was first broadcast on "In Concert" in April 1987. Various combinations of the above tracks were put together for later broadcasts, occasionally with tracks from the 1985 Oxford Apollo gig. This was webcast on BBC 6's web radio in 2003 to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of the Smiths' debut single. The entire concert was never presented at once, "I Want The One I Can't Have", "Never Had No One Ever", "Meat Is Murder" were never broadcast. In 1988, a selection of 14 of these tracks was released as the posthumous live album "Rank". For more details see the concert information.
