5 December 1999 Barrowlands, Glasgow, UK
You're Gonna Need Someone On Your SideAs is standard in Glasgow the fans were very enthusiastic and they made this gig one of the wildest of the tour. There were a few sound problems at the beginning, but these were soon resolved. One fan got on stage near the end of the show. This concert is notable for the first time ever performance of "A Swallow On My Neck". It replaced "The Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils" in the setlist. Morrissey greeted the crowd with the line "Thanks for coming out on such a miserable night, I'm sure you'll... regret it..." Further down the set "Is It Really So Strange?" was introduced with "this is for the older people amongst you". Because a portion of the audience was unfamiliar with "A Swallow On My Neck", Morrissey followed its performance with the comment "I see a lot of surprised faces". When a fan tried to get on stage but failed, he said "He's my son... he's adopted though..."
