This concert was a very good one. Morrissey and the audience were in good spirits. A few fans made it up on stage. The setlist was scrambled more than it ever was so far on this tour, only the first two songs and the final one remained in their usual spots. "Sunny" had been dropped on the previous date but it was played on this one.

Entering stage Morrissey greeted his fans "Hello fortysomethings... My name is Big Tom and these are the Mainliners". The second part of his greeting came after "The Boy Racer": "Thank you and welcome to an evening of rebel songs... none of which have choruses but... doesn't matter... (someone shouts) Exactly! Somebody knows me!" After "Alma Matters" he told the general audience, or perhaps someone in particular, "You're very impatient...". He then replied to someone shouting for "How Soon Is Now?": "Why? Have you asked yourself that question?"

Following "Tomorrow" Morrissey thanked the audience and was thanked back. So he replied "Oh no thank you!... Alright then..." He then asked "No requests?" and teased the ones who answered with "No, I said: 'no requests!'." Then while waiting to go into "Hairdresser On Fire" he answered various things shouted to him: "Yes but this is grown up music for grown up people... Yes, call and response, call and response... What does it mean? I don't know..." After "Hairdresser On Fire" he said something undecipherable then seeing the lack of reaction from the audience he added "That wasn't very funny... I've never been funny, so why try now!"

After "Is It Really So Strange?" Morrissey replied to something with "Well I can actually, but that's another song...", then to something else: "Well not me!" After "Trouble Loves Me" he joked "I do actually have two aunties who live in Limerick... unfortunately they're both men!". After "Now My Heart If Full" he joked again with people in the front rows. After "November Spawned A Monster" some other title was shouted for by someone and Morrissey replied "Well I don't think so... that was a really good career stopper wasn't it?" Before going into encore "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" he joked "We know you wanna go out and buy your kebabs so we'll do this one in quick time, just for you!".

A generally good audience recording of the complete set is available on bootleg compact discs and in digital format on the internet, sometimes under the title "University Concert Hall Limerick Eire 28th November 1999". The recording's only (minor) flaw is that bits of "Speedway" are missing.
