24 November 1999 Rialto, Derry, Ireland
You're Gonna Need Someone On Your SideThis was probably the least interesting of the Irish dates. The crowd didn't seem into the concert as much as in other cities. But Morrissey was still in top form and quite talkative. The lesser known "Lost" and "Sunny" were dropped and replaced by album track "The Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils". This was the latter song's first airing since Cologne a month and a half earlier. Because the concert wasn't sold out and the room wasn't full, Morrissey greeted his audience with "Welcome to my private party". At one point early on he said "I hope some of you know the words... if not, Julia, will you sing along?". Later on he enquired "Is anyone here from Letterkenny?" and followed this shortly after with "I've been to Letterkenny... I have you know...".
