This was an excellent concert. Morrissey was in great spirits and very talkative with people in the front rows. The audience was receptive and very enthusiastic. The sound was quite good in the Arenan. There was no change in the setlist.

Morrissey and the band walked on stage to the drum intro from "The Operation", as usual. Morrissey started by greeting the audience with "Stockholm we came to grab you!" He said this too early and the intro wasn't yet ended, so he added "So we will! (waits some more)... Eventually (intro finally ends)... now!" Following "The Boy Racer" the crowd broke into the first of many chants of Morrissey's name. Before going into "Is It Really So Strange?" the singer announced "I feel slightly (?) and I don't know why, but... it's nice to see your faces (crowd cheers)... some of them anyway... one or two I'm not sure about..." A line was changed in the latter song to "Oh yes you can chin me, and you can shin me and you can break my spine, but you won't change the way I feel".

Before "Hairdresser On Fire" Morrissey answered someone's shouts with the question "What do you mean, exactly?". Similarly, before going into "Lost", he answered someone (who was probably shouting for that very song): "I am, that's why I'm here... this is it..." Then over the song's opening notes he started an explanation but never finished it: "this is about..." After the song a portion of the audience chanted Morrissey's name again. The object of the singalong reacted by asking "Can you say that in Swedish please?... I only respond to Swedish... (someone shouts something, Morrissey replies) Exactly..."

Now and then in live performances of "Sunny" at the time Morrissey would change a line to "they're not forgiving me, and I'm not even wrong", but on this date he took this a step further and sang "they're not forgiving me, and I'm always wrong". After that song he replied to song requests with the words "Is there anything you wouldn't like me to play?... Oh well..." After "Roy's Keen" he asked someone in the audience "Did you go to Copenhagen? Yes... I thought I recognised that voice..."

In live performances of "Break Up The Family" on this tour Morrissey usually changed "I want to see all my friends tonight" to "I want to be with my friends tonight", but in Stockholm he sang "I want to kiss my friends tonight". Before the band went into encore "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" the singer had one last word with the audience: "I wondered if you'd all come to my hotel room tonight? (crowd cheers) I'll take the lot..."

A good audience recording of this show is available on cd and in digital format on the internet. Unfortunately "Reader Meet Author" is buried in loud digital noises, making it unlistenable, and every song fades in and out, something that disrupts the listening flow. Some copies are circulated without the noisy "Reader Meet Author" while others have that song replaced with another from a different recording of the same show which has yet to be put into wide circulation. This patched up set is also extended with "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" from a recording of the Stockholm show from 25 October 2002.

The uncirculated set mentioned above has skips and lacks "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me".
