19 November 1992 Ovens Auditorium, Charlotte, NC
The Last Of The Famous International PlayboysThe presence of fans on stage before the show gave the impression that this concert was going to be a wild one, but nobody managed to get on stage while Morrissey was there. The singer still flirted with the audience but overall he often looked slightly bored and distracted. A major setlist resequencing included the re-introduction of "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys" which hadn't been played since the very first shows of the "Your Arsenal tour. The song had been heard soundchecked a few days earlier. Part-timer "Sister I'm A Poet" was also reinstated. To make space for those two songs, "Tomorrow" and "Girl Likely To" were dropped. The newly reintroduced "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys" had the honours of opening the show. On the 1991 Kill Uncle tour, Morrissey used to change a line in that song to "just to make myself attracted to you", but on this date he reverted to the original lyrics. Returning for the encore, Morrissey addressed the audience for the first and only time of the evening: "I did want to say thank you for coming".
