8 September 1991 Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland, New Zealand
Alsatian CousinThe second and final show in New Zealand (on this tour or ever) was also very wild. The concert received yet more great reviews despite many technical difficulties. The set was shortened by one song. Part-timers "Will Never Marry", "Cosmic Dancer" and "Sister I'm A Poet" made way for "There's A Place In Hell..." and "Trash". At some point Morrissey extended his hand out to a fan and quick found himself dragged off stage into the crowd. From the audience, all you could see was a pair of Black Doc Marten boots pointing upwards. The security somehow hauled him back and he just popped up back on stage like in a movie being rewound. After a quick check that the quiff was still in place the man just casually carried on singing as if nothing had happened.
