This was one of the best shows of this Japanese portion of the Kill Uncle tour. The crowd was very wild, many of the fans made it on stage despite strict security. Many seats were destroyed because fans were standing on them. Morrissey's black shirt was ripped off his back near the end.

At one point during the concert, Morrissey walked to the back of the stage then turned around and ran towards the edge as if he was going to throw himself into the crowd.

The setlist was significantly rearranged for this first Japanese date. "Will Never Marry", which had been dropped after one gig on the previous British leg, was reinstated. More interestingly, "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty" also returned to the setlist. It had only been played on a handful of dates early in the year, then dropped. Now that it was about to be released on the "My Love Life" single, Morrissey decided to start doing it again. To make space for these, "There Is A Place In Hell For Me And My Friends" was dropped.
