24 July 1991 Empire, Liverpool
November Spawned A MonsterLiverpool wasn't the highlight of the Kill Uncle tour, but this was still a good show. Morrissey was overall not very talkative. There was a huge pit between the stage and the crowd, making contact impossible between idol and fans. A signed tambourine was sent by Morrissey into the crowd at some point into the show. Following "King Leer" the crowd broke into a chant of Morrissey's name. It was interrupted by Morrissey when he asked someone "What? Are you German? Are you German?". He then introduced his newest single "Pregnant For The Last Time" with the words: "We wouldn't be surprised if you haven't noticed but we've just released a single and, well (crowd cheers)..." This would turn out to be Morrissey's only banter of the evening, bar the occasional "thank you". "Alsatian Cousin" and "The Loop" were heard being rehearsed during soundcheck. They had both been performed once each on the earlier American leg of the tour and were about to be re-introduced into the set on this leg.
