The recently re-introduced but yet unreleased "Pregnant For The Last Time" was deleted from the setlist. Because of a recent riot at that venue, there was an unpenetrable barrier between the fans and the stage, which led Morrissey to say after "November Spawned A Monster", "I'm so sorry about the barrier, but never mind".

Before "Our Frank" a pair of glasses were thrown on stage. Morrissey picked them up and said "Has somebody lost their spectacles? Well, come and see me later". In the following song, "Everyday Is Like Sunday", besides the usual changes, Morrissey sang "How I dearly wish they were not here" while pointing at the security men. The encore of "Disappointed" was introduced with the words "This is our last song". Two people who were backstage got to dance next to Morrissey during that number.

It is during this visit to Phoenix that the "My Love Life" video was shot. The song was to be released as a single three months later.

A poor sounding audience recording of the whole concert is available on bootleg cds and as digital files on the usual file sharing networks.
