8 June 1991 Greek Theater, Berkeley, CA
Interesting DrugMorrissey was very well received by the San Francisco fans. Security was very tight and nobody made it on stage. There was a lot of pushing and shoving in the crowd however. Morrissey wasn't very talkative, but he did introduce "Suedehead" with "This song has a place in my heart". His only other banter was "Good evening, San Francisco", delivered before the opening song. After having been dropped from the setlist for a few dates, "Cosmic Dancer" was reinstated for this night only. It would not be played again on this leg and only return on the upcoming UK leg of the tour. The song had so far usually been performed as an encore, but on this final American performance its position was switched with that of "Asian Rut".
