The live version of "Hand In Glove" on cd-single #1 is included because it was once broadcast on BBC Radio. It is incorrectly labelled as being from 12/12/86.

Unlike previous singles "This Charming Man" and "How Soon Is Now?", this is not really a re-release. Although it was once considered as a potential single in the UK, it was only released by Virgin in France. Information about this original 1986 French release is found here.

"There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" was included on a various artists Warner Music / East West promo cd (PROMOCD37). The song's video was distributed to relevant media on a one-track promo videocassette and on a WEA/East West instore various artists promo video compilation dated October 1992.

Germany: The German cd-single was dispatched to media with a PRODUKT INFORMATION press sheet.

Switzerland: A various artists promo video compilation featuring the video for "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" was distributed to promote this single as well as the "Best...II" album.
