In Conversation [USA Warner VHS]
This VHS video featuring 52 minutes of interviews with Morrissey and Johnny Marr served as a promo for the release of the "Strangeways Here We Come" album in the USA. It is therefore also mentioned in the latter album's collectors appendix. Excerpts of these interviews have since been included in various documentaries and television specials on the band. Young Guns Go For It [UK BBC VHS]
"Young Guns Go For It: The Rise And Fall Of The Smiths" is a documentary including footage and interviews of Johnny Marr, Mike Joyce, Andy Rourke as well as other key players in the band's story. Also included are old bits of interviews with Morrissey. The 'Professional Grade' videocassette has a white BBC label on the top side giving the documentary's title and a bit of technical info. It comes in a generic 'BBC Resources' card slipcase showing a blurry photo of someone making hand gestures. It is not known whether this VHS cassette was used for the original 1999 broadcast or the slightly extended re-broadcast from 2001 on the UK Horizons channel.
