Additional information:
This is part of a late 1980s/early 1990s series of releases featuring appearances by various artists on the John Peel programme. The EP dedicated to the Smiths features their first appearance on the John Peel show, from 31 May 1983. Tracks from other appearances are available on other releases such as "Hatful Of Hollow" or the "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" single, to name a few.

Artwork information:
The original UK release has the generic series artwork of band names in silver, black and white. Later foreign releases have their own personalised artwork. The cd-EP was reissued in the UK in 1994 with different cover art.
