"Vauxhall & I" is considered by many to be their favourite Morrissey album. Had it been toured, it would have probably been his biggest selling one. It was the first of only two Morrissey releases to break the top 20 of the American album chart. It also includes his only American mainstream hit, "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get".
