UK: A one-track cd (RCA, BOY1) was sent to radio to promote this single and indirectly, the "Southpaw Grammar" album. Some copies were distributed with a RCA Victor press release and others with a pluggers sticker on the front. View artwork in left frame. "The Boy Racer" was also included on a various artists double cd radio promo titled "BMG Seaside Special". A one-track promo video of the song was also distributed for promotion.
