The UK 7" is available with the contractually-specified-by-Morrissey paper label, but some copies have a silver injection moulded label.

The USA cd-single was originally released on digipack, but the later re-pressing came in a jewel case.

Promotion:
UK: This single was promoted by the third in a series of five retro-style promo 7"s (POPDJ1626; view in left frame) for singles released in 1990 and 1991. One-track promo videos were produced by Capitol and by In Phase for promotional purposes.

Japan: Promo cds have a promo sticker on the back and 'Sample not for sale' etched around the cd's inner ring.

USA: Promotion was done via gold stamped copies of the 12" and one-track promo videos (Warner, C86062). "Sing Your Life" was included on volume VI of Warner's various artists promo/sampler series titled "Follow Our Trax" (PRO-CD-4635). The video was included on two different Warner various artists sampler compilations, one numbered #211 (C89296) and the other simply titled "13 Tied". It was also included on volume 99A of the various artists promo series Telegenics and the June 1991 issue of the Rockamerica promo videos series .
